Great to meet you!
At age 50, having raised three daughters with my husband, Dr. Buddy Biggers, I decided to enter graduate school to study Clinical Psychology. At the time, I had been in Jungian Analysis for three years and felt that the Jungian approach to helping people better understand themselves was the orientation I was seeking in preparation for becoming a psychotherapist.
In my search for a graduate program that combined soul and psyche, I found Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California. For five years, I commuted once a month from Asheville, North Carolina, to Santa Barbara for three days of intensive study, ultimately obtaining both my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I have been in private practice as a psychotherapist in Asheville since 1995.
My practice includes working with individual adults, teenagers, children, families, and couples, LGBTQ, as well as parenting issues
