Great to meet you!

I work with adults navigating the effects of trauma, difficult relationships, and life experiences that can feel overwhelming to process alone. With over 13 years of experience as a licensed social worker, including 9 years working closely with survivors of intimate partner violence, I provide warm, trauma-informed care grounded in trust, safety and respect. My background includes working with children, families and adults across a variety of settings, which gives me a broad and compassionate understanding about how life experiences shape us. I specialize in women's mental health, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, interpersonal conflict, and the impact of domestic violence. I also hold certifications as an adult ADHD specialist and a clinical trauma professional.

My approach to therapy

Many of my clients come to therapy after experiencing intimate partner violence or when they feel stuck, emotionally drained, or unsure how to move forward. My approach is integrative, drawing from CBT, ACT, IPT, and motivational interviewing. I also offer ADHD-informed support to help with focus, organization, emotional regulation, and self-understanding. I support clients in building insight, strengthening coping skills, increasing motivation for change, and developing healthier boundaries.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We’ll go at your pace—there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. I’ll start by reviewing what you can expect from therapy, including confidentiality, the structure of sessions, and how we can work together.

We’ll spend some time talking about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. You’re always welcome to ask questions at any point, and I’ll make sure you have a clear understanding of the process.

Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly listened to. The first session is as much about you getting to know me as it is about me getting to know you, so we can begin building a strong, trusting foundation for our work together.
