Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and client-centered care. I earned my Doctor of Nursing degree from Walden University with a 4.0 GPA, reflecting my strong commitment to academic excellence and professional growth. I strive to create a safe, respectful environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their treatment decisions. My goal is to partner with each client to develop individualized plans that support healing, stability, and long-term well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. I strive to build a trusting and nonjudgmental relationship where clients feel safe to share their experiences. I take a holistic view of mental health, considering emotional, physical, social, and environmental factors when creating individualized treatment plans. I believe in shared decision-making, ensuring clients understand their options—whether medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or a combination—and feel empowered to participate actively in their care. Throughout treatment, I monitor progress closely, adjust interventions as needed, and remain committed to delivering culturally sensitive, respectful, and person-centered care that supports lasting wellness and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive environment focused on understanding their unique concerns and goals. I complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation that includes discussing current symptoms, medical and mental health history, life stressors, and any past treatment experiences. This session is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions and share what they hope to gain from care. Together, we begin developing an individualized treatment plan, which may include therapy, medication options, or both. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and confident that they have a partner in their mental health journey.
