I have extensive training in internal family systems (IFS), psychodynamic/relational models, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I am currently working toward specialization in reproductive mental health and love to work with individuals anywhere along the reproductive lifecycle.
My approach is collaborative and interactive. I hold a curious, nonjudgmental stance so we can better understand the realities of your circumstances; most things make sense in context. I have a strong commitment to social justice and working with people with diverse racial, gender, religious, and socioeconomic identities.
I hope you leave therapy with the knowledge that the problem is not within you (even though it probably feels like it is), and yet you have the ability to shift things internally and externally to become more present, increase your connection to self and others, and to live more fully in accordance with your values. I have helped people to change their relationships with substances and other addictions and supported those with complex trauma to build a sense of trust and safety in relationships.
