Great to meet you!

I believe growth and change are always possible. Are you feeling stressed and burnt-out? Are you working extra hard behind the scenes to manage ADHD or anxiety? I specialize in therapy or counseling for adults with anxiety, ADHD, burn-out, depression, and other stress-related concerns. Together we will help you build strategies for reducing stress and addressing burn-out, "imposter syndrome," anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, lack of confidence, or perfectionism. I enjoy helping clients be active problem-solvers and move towards a life full of meaning, purpose, and joy.

In addition to nearly 15 years of private practice, I have worked in college counseling and am a former Assistant Clinical Faculty member at The George Washington University. I have been practicing in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota since 2018.

My approach to therapy

I believe growth and change are always possible. Through a warm, customized approach, I will help you make immediate, positive change while also addressing the underlying thoughts and feelings that can leave us all feeling stuck sometimes.

In some ways, therapy or counseling is like going on a long road trip. You’re in the driver’s seat— you get to decide how fast you drive, where you’re headed, and how you’ll get there. As the therapist, I’m in the passenger seat as a helpful, kind, and patient navigator— one who might help you decide where to go, gently point out when you’ve gone off course (or stopped altogether), and who can also help you notice and enjoy what is happening along the way. I view any mental health journey as an active collaboration, with both of us doing our part to help you get to where you want to be.

What you can expect from me

Our work together will be active, collaborative, and personalized to you. I use both ACT and CBT, two evidence-based therapies that help create meaningful, lasting change.

Our first session will focus on what has been working for you, and what you‘d like to change or work on. I like to end each session with some active next steps - like a goal for the week, an intention you’d like to carry with you, or a commitment to do something that brings you joy.
