Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Liz! I help clients heal from past trauma and uncover the root of what’s keeping them feeling stuck. Trauma can shape the way you see yourself, others, and the world—often showing up as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or difficulty setting healthy boundaries.

My work focuses on addressing these deeper patterns to support lasting healing and meaningful personal growth. For those who desire it, I also offer the option to integrate Christian faith into the counseling process.

I believe therapy should not only be effective but also feel human and approachable. We’ll roll up our sleeves and do the work together, while also making space for moments of lightness along the way.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic models and techniques to help my clients including but not limited to Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Polyvagal Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe education/knowledge of what you are going through sets the foundation to the therapeutic work you will be doing.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to make the therapeutic process enjoyable for you. I like to make the first few sessions feel like a laid-back conversation as I gather information to better understand you and your circumstances. I don't believe in the one-size-fits-all approach, so we will spend time exploring what treatment approach works best for you. I strongly encourage practicing therapeutic skills outside of the session because that's where lasting change happens. The goal is to help you build your toolbox and make it practical. Overall, I'm easygoing. I provide professional support and gentle guidance with a healthy dose of humor, accountability, and, as needed, therapist tough love.
