Great to meet you!

I earned a Masters degree from Northwest Nazarene University in clinical counseling in 2014. I am currently licensed in the state of Idaho and Montana. I have been licensed for many years and participated in many trainings for clinical practice including but not limited to Christian counseling, Rogerian therapy, trauma therapy, grief/loss, addiction (Social media, gambling, sexual, food, etc.), anxiety (general and specific), personality disorders, depression, relationship challenges, neuroscience, adoption and/or attachment, equine therapy, play therapy, family therapy and experiential therapy. I have been a TBRI® Practitioner since 2015 and TBRI® Educator since 2017 working with families with kids from hard places. I am trained in clinical supervision and clinical ethics as well. I am trained in the use of neurofeedback equipment including brain mapping and brain training sessions since 2021, and have been Board Certified through BCIA since 2025. My approach to therapy

I look at counseling as a journey of personal health and well-being achieved through insight. I approach counseling and NFB as a collaborative effort in which the client and I work together on a treatment plan. Together we can discuss treatment goals, objectives, and methods according to your needs. I view my role as one of facilitator and guide. I look to evaluate your lifestyle, choices and goals through empathetic mirroring in order to identify unwanted results and/or inconsistencies in your approach. I do this using Rogerian therapy model and often use techniques and modalities from Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI®) which includes a multi-modal approach with leading neuroscience, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and more, unless we agree to shift the therapeutic approach for specific needs.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to be honest, as this is a premise for trust and relationship building. Progress in your treatment will be evaluated frequently and modifications in counseling will be made as needed and according to agreed upon treatment goals. Areas of consideration include: Biological-Psychological-Sociological-Cultural-Spiritual
