Great to meet you!
I specialize in helping adults who are overwhelmed, anxious, neurodivergent, relationally stuck, or tired of feeling like they have to manage everything alone.

I specialize in helping adults who are overwhelmed, anxious, neurodivergent, relationally stuck, or tired of feeling like they have to manage everything alone.
I bring a warm, direct, and deeply experienced approach to therapy. I am an independently licensed clinical social worker and supervisor with more than 26 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationship stress, life transitions, family-of-origin patterns, and emotional overwhelm.
My background includes extensive work with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and adults across outpatient, community, and private practice settings. I have advanced training in emotionally focused therapy, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral approaches, and relational work. I especially enjoy working with insightful adults who may look like they are functioning well on the outside but feel anxious, exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in repeating patterns.
Clients often describe my style as compassionate, honest, practical, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should feel safe and supportive, but also useful. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that keep you feeling overwhelmed, unseen, or unsure of what to do next.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, relationship concerns, stress, burnout, self-esteem issues, grief, life transitions, parenting stress, and women’s issues. I am also affirming of neurodivergent clients and clients navigating complex relationship or identity-related concerns. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your life.
Clients can expect their first session to feel warm, conversational, and focused on helping me understand what brought them to therapy now. We will talk about what has been feeling difficult, what you have already tried, what you hope will feel different, and any important background that helps me understand you as a whole person.
I know starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I do not expect you to have the perfect words or know exactly where to begin. My style is compassionate, direct, and collaborative. I will ask thoughtful questions, help organize what you are experiencing, and begin identifying the patterns that may be keeping you anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck.
The first session is also a chance for you to get a feel for me and decide whether the fit feels right. We will review your goals, discuss what therapy may look like moving forward, and begin creating a plan that feels useful, realistic, and tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and with a clearer sense that we have a direction.
