Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 20 years of experience in social work and over 15 years of post-master's clinical experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing complex medical conditions, mental health concerns, acute care needs, and rehabilitation challenges. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the resilience of the people I serve and the importance of compassionate, individualized care.

My approach to therapy

My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while integrating other evidence-based therapeutic modalities based on each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and I tailor treatment to best support each person's journey.

I view therapy as a collaborative partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and together we will identify meaningful goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you overcome challenges and create lasting change. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll take time to discuss what brings you to counseling, your personal history, and the concerns you'd like to address. Together, we'll begin identifying your strengths, goals, and areas where you'd like support. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable sharing at your own pace. By the end of our session, we'll have a clearer understanding of your needs and develop a framework for future therapy sessions that is tailored to your individual goals.
