Great to meet you!

I specialize in women's counseling. Every woman has a unique story, and I believe your experiences, strengths, and goals deserve thoughtful attention.

My role is to understand what has brought you here, help you clarify what you want to change, and work alongside you to achieve meaningful, lasting growth.

I have been counseling women for several decades, beginning as a pastoral counselor and later as a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor.

I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than relying on a predetermined, one-size-fits-all treatment plan. Depending on your goals, I will draw on evidence-based approaches to optimize your progress. One of the greatest rewards of my work is seeing people experience meaningful, lasting change.

I work with any woman who is ready to invest in her personal growth and emotional well-being.

I believe the strongest outcomes occur when we work together in a collaborative partnership, with both of us fully committed to the healing process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your needs. My goal is to make each session as helpful and meaningful as possible.

I understand that change can feel difficult when your mood is low, your nervous system feels overwhelmed, or you feel stuck in familiar patterns. With compassion and respect for your experience, I help clients develop tools to regulate emotions, calm the nervous system, think more clearly, and take realistic steps toward change.

My work is solution-focused and individualized. Together, we will identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck and build the insight, emotional awareness, communication skills, boundaries, and rational thinking needed to move forward.

Step by step, we will work toward meaningful progress so you can gain clarity, strengthen your confidence, and create a healthier, more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Before your first session, I'll send you several assessments to help us prepare for discussing your history, current concerns, and goals for therapy. These assessments are not tests to pass or fail, and they are never intended to criticize or judge you. They simply provide a starting point for understanding your experiences and determining how I can best help you.

Please take a few moments to carefully read the instructions at the top of each assessment. If a questionnaire asks about "the past two weeks" or "the past six months," I encourage you to think back through that time period—using your calendar if it helps—so your responses accurately reflect your experiences. This information helps us identify what has been helpful, what has not, and where to focus our work together.

We will work together as partners in helping you move toward the changes that matter most to you.
