Great to meet you!

I've spent years working in some of the most demanding mental health environments — acute psychiatric care, community mental health, hospital psychiatric units — and what I learned is that people are far more resilient than they realize, even when it doesn't feel that way. I bring that perspective into every session: deep respect for where you've been and genuine confidence in where you can go. I work with adults across Oregon via telehealth, which means consistent, high-quality care is available wherever life has you.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. My approach blends evidence-based methods — including EMDR for trauma, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for anxiety and depression, Prolonged Exposure, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy — depending on what actually fits you. I'm also trained in Positive Psychology and Narrative Therapy, so we're not just working through problems; we're identifying your strengths and building the story you want to live. The therapeutic relationship matters most to me. When trust is real, real change follows.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not a checklist. I'll ask about your history and what's bringing you in, but I'm equally interested in what you're hoping for and what's felt impossible to say out loud. We'll set a direction together. By the end, you should have a real sense of what working with me looks like — and whether it feels right. There's no pressure. Just an honest start.
