Great to meet you!
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine relationship. My style is warm, curious, honest, and engaged. I'll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you notice patterns that may be difficult to see when you're so close to them. While I'll always meet you with compassion, I also believe growth is intentional, and requires honesty, trust, accountability and the willingness to explore the uncomfortable places together.
Over the past 15-years, I've worked across outpatient, residential, crisis and community mental health settings with individuals experiencing everything from everyday life stressors to highly complex trauma and relationship challenges. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that every person's story makes sense when we understand the context in which it developed.
Above all, I want clients to know they don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You simply have to be willing to show up.
