Great to meet you!

I became a therapist after going through a difficult time and realizing that not everyone has supportive people to turn to. I wanted to be that person for others who feel alone in their struggles.

With over 25 years of counseling experience, I work with individuals navigating depression and anxiety, often stemming from difficult relationships, trauma, or life transitions. With a kind, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach, I help you discover the tools you already have inside to move forward and find relief.

My approach to therapy

I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to help you change thought patterns and reframe beliefs that fuel mental health symptoms. Together, we'll develop coping techniques and new perspectives so you can approach life with greater ease and empowerment.

What you can expect from me

My style is open-minded, warm, and affirming. I create a space where you feel heard and supported as we work together toward your goals. I help clients retell their story and change their lives by shifting the thoughts that keep them stuck. Talk therapy empowers you with coping techniques that work alongside or beyond medication, giving you tools to manage depression and anxiety on your own terms.

The first session is all about building trust and getting to know you. You'll share what brings you in, and I'll help you see your concerns in a new way. This is the beginning of our work together, where you start to feel understood.
