Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in counseling and clinical neuropsychology. Upon finishing my undergraduate studies, I completed a master’s degree in psychological counseling at Columbia University and a PhD in counseling psychology at New York University with a specialization in clinical neuropsychology. My work experiences span across different settings, including hospitals, community mental health clinics, K-12 schools, and colleges over the past two decades.

My approach to therapy

As a clinician who views psychotherapy as an integration of science and art, I adopt approaches that are backed by scientific evidence while incorporating the unique voices of each individual. Progress is highly valued, as the purpose of therapy is to bring upon meaningful change and improvement in clients' quality of life. My therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and brief psychodynamic therapy.

What you can expect from me

During the first two sessions, we will focus on a comprehensive intake to understand your history, background, upbringing, as well as your current functioning. From there, we will work collaboratively to create a roadmap and establish goals that are meaningful and attainable.
