Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Elyse, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supporting women and mothers navigating anxiety, depression, parenting stress, and fertility, prenatal, or postpartum challenges. I also work extensively with children and teens experiencing anxiety, or behavioral difficulties. With ten years of clinical experience, I use evidence-based approaches—primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—grounded in strengths, resilience, and practical skill-building. I’m committed to creating a warm, collaborative therapeutic relationship where every person feels safe, understood, and truly heard.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I strive to help every client feel empowered to develop practical tools that make life’s hardest moments more manageable. Together, we explore the patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and identify meaningful steps toward change.

Many of my clients are new to therapy and aren’t always sure where to begin. My role is to meet you exactly where you are and guide you forward at a pace that feels comfortable—one small, supportive step at a time.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll begin with introductions and a collaborative conversation about what brought you to therapy. By the end of that meeting, you’ll have a clearer understanding of the concerns we’ll focus on and a preliminary treatment plan tailored to your needs. Clients often leave sessions feeling seen, validated, and equipped with tools they can use right away. You’ll begin noticing how your thoughts influence your feelings and behaviors, and we’ll practice strategies you can immediately apply to your everyday life to create meaningful, lasting change.
