Great to meet you!

I received my Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College, with an additional certificate from their Eating Disorders track. I have worked as a mental health therapist for 10 years, working with a wide variety of people including those with severe and persistent mental health challenges. I don't view my clients as impaired or ill, but as a human being with overwhelming challenges that is reaching out for help.

My approach to therapy

I was born and raised in Hawaii, so I like to welcome people to my office with coffee or tea. I like to hear how challenges are impacting a client's daily functioning and talk about ways to navigate these challenges.

What you can expect from me

I allow clients to share as much as comfortable without prying for details. I like to build rapport, but also explain that this is about their care so they are encouraged to see another therapist if they feel we are not the right fit.
