Great to meet you!

I’ve been a practicing clinical psychologist for 40 years. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with many different types of people, including those navigating PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, eating disorders, veterans’ issues, parenting challenges, life transitions, and women’s issues. I’ve worked in private practice, counseling centers, nursing homes, inpatient treatment, and equine therapy, which has given me broad experience supporting clients across many settings and stages of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is centered on uncovering the unique gifts each person has and helping them understand who they were made to be so they can enjoy life as their authentic self. I draw from a range of treatment modalities, including trauma work, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive therapy, Christian counseling, and other approaches tailored to each client’s needs. I’m known for bringing deep empathy to my work, and I believe love is the greatest healer.

What you can expect from me

I offer a warm, compassionate space where we can explore what you’re facing and what kind of support will serve you best. I invite you to schedule a consultation with me to determine whether my approach feels like the right fit for you at this time.
