Great to meet you!

I received my Bachelor’s (BA)in Criminal Justice (with a minor in Psychology) and Master’s degree in Counseling (MA) from Central Michigan University. After graduation, I started working with Community Mental Health, where I expanded my trainings and certifications. Since working with CMH I have been able to work with a large population of individuals with different challenges such as substance use, bereavement, trauma, domestic violence, family matters, and life goals. I am certified in DBT and DBT PE. I specialize in Behavioral Health, Personality Disorders, and Trauma Therapy. I have experience working with all ages from school age to geriatric clients.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is reflective to my clients needs and varies case by case. I believe different individuals require different ways of healing and support. My approach often is open minded, future oriented, and builds skills such as distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

What you can expect from me

First session with me is often shorter than our future sessions (however can go longer if the client is wanting). It is constructed to build report and set future goals for us to work towards.
