My approach is strengths-based, solution-focused, and client-centered. I believe therapy works best when we start with where you are right now and build forward together.
In our work, we will identify helpful coping skills, strategies, and supports that can move you toward your goals. I also integrate data-informed practices, including outcome measures, to help us track progress and make sure therapy is working for you.
I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals and strive to provide neurodivergent-affirming care that respects different ways of thinking, processing, and experiencing the world.
My goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment which makes you respected and engaged in the therapeutic process. During the first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope might change or improve, and what goals feel most meaningful to you. We may also use some brief assessments or patient-reported outcome measures to better understand how things are changing over time.
