Great to meet you!

I am passionate about helping people learn to use "curiosity instead of judgment", "give themselves time and grace", and to recognize and understand "that no one can do better until they know better". These three principles have allowed me to help many individuals make life-altering changes at their own pace without feeling overwhelmed or pressured. So many people are living their lives attempting to avoid challenging themselves because of fears of failure or letting others down. This can lead to feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, being stuck, anxiousness, depression, and regret. It doesn't have to be this way.

I’ve worked across diverse mental health settings, from supporting military personnel to helping trauma-impacted teens and high-risk cases. My experience in crisis response, case management, and advocacy allows me to provide compassionate, effective care. I’m committed to understanding individuals' needs and guiding them toward lasting support and stability.

My approach to therapy

I believe in practicing with a person-centered/trauma-focused approach. I use various techniques based on what works best for the client's individual needs and/or what they best respond to. I utilize a mixture of the following techniques: Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational interviewing, Psychodynamic, Attachment-based, IFS, Art and solution-focused.

What you can expect from me

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression or trauma related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand and collaborate to create a plan that addresses them in a way that helps you regain control of your life. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
