Great to meet you!

If you've been carrying something heavy — past trauma, anxiety that won't quiet down, or the sense that old experiences are still quietly running your life — you're in the right place. I specialize in helping adults get to the root of what's holding them back, using EMDR and trauma-informed approaches to identify the beliefs that drive our behaviors without us even realizing it.

I've been doing this work since 2018, and one thing I've come to believe deeply: the goal isn't happiness — it's balance, and a more realistic relationship with yourself and your life. Everyone has mental health. You deserve the tools to have real agency over yours.

My approach to therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is at the core of how I work. It's an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process experiences that got "stuck" — the kind that show up as anxiety, avoidance, or negative beliefs about yourself you can't seem to shake loose. I also draw on Trauma-Focused CBT to connect the patterns in your thinking to what you're feeling and doing day to day. Sessions are collaborative and direct. We identify the core beliefs driving your struggles, then build practical tools you can actually use outside our sessions together.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask what's been going on, what's bringing you in now, and what you're hoping to feel or do differently. You don't need to have it all figured out — most people don't, and that's completely fine.

By the end of our first conversation, you'll have a clearer picture of what we're working toward and how I work. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, and like this could actually help.
