Great to meet you!

Greetings! My name is Emily and I bring over a decade of clinical experience to our sessions as well as certifications in holistic disciplines such as yoga teacher training and reiki. I’m trained in EMDR which I’ve found to be immensely helpful for many individuals in processing trauma and anxiety-based blockages. I have additional expertise in treating PTSD, parenting support, body positivity, relationship stressors, healing from abuse, OCD, and personality disorders. I also care deeply about systemic oppression and advocacy, the spiritual elements of healing, and maximizing the mind-body connection with somatic practices to regulate the nervous system. I also believe all individuals contain a deeply creative voice and that nurturing and igniting this voice is key to sustained recovery.

My approach to therapy

I view the therapeutic alliance as a sacred container in which I am deeply honored to bear witness to your story. I truly believe I learn as much from you as you learn from me. My goal is to unearth your inner wisdom and help you curate customized, achievable, short-term goals which constitute the building blocks of your new reality.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel warm & unconditional acceptance in our sessions—but also for me to be direct. I’ll gently challenge you on some of your ingrained habits/conditioning/thought patterns which no longer support your highest potential while holding compassion for the purpose they have served. I genuinely care about people, & work hard to create an atmosphere of collaboration and respect.
