Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Emily, the founder and sole clinician at North of Now Therapy. I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults navigating anxiety, grief, infertility, and life transitions.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and hold a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. I am licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Michigan.

Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including schools, community mental health clinics, and private practice. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals from diverse backgrounds as they navigate complex emotional and psychological challenges.

My approach to therapy

I offer compassionate, evidence-based telehealth therapy for adults. I start by getting to know your story, help you process what you're carrying, and provide trauma-informed, personalized care so you can move forward with hope.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a relationship where you feel safe, heard, and understood. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope will be different in your life.
