Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Emily. I am an Art Therapist and a clinically licensed Counselor. As a clinician, I am experienced in addressing depression, anxiety, grief/ loss, trauma, life transitions, end of life issues, substance use, and navigating challenges around ADHD and neurodiversity.

My approach to therapy

I work within a relational-cultural framework, which is based on the idea that disconnection is a source of suffering. We live in a time where the ability to connect is at our fingertips, but many of us still struggle deeply. As an Art Therapist, I am able to help people engage in creative expression as a means to address the things that might be hard to fully express in words. As a counselor, I am able to provide talk therapy for those who prefer a traditional approach.

What you can expect from me

Through a harm reduction and person-centered lens, I aim to help clients process and integrate past and present challenging life experiences. I prioritize the consideration of each client's unique social and cultural background, and I strive to foster meaningful and healthy connections with my clients. My goal is to support clients in learning new ways to move through and think about the world so they can increase their quality of life.
