Great to meet you!

I have had the privilege of walking alongside families as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for almost 10 years. After graduating with my masters degree in Boston, I've had the experience of working in a variety of settings and roles to encourage and support children, youth, families, and parents to make meaning and change in their lives. I'm passionate about caring for people and advocating for those who are unable to advocate for themselves - especially youth. I believe each person was created on purpose for a purpose and each life is valuable; I hope each person leaves our time together knowing they matter.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is always client-centered first. I like to spend time getting to know each person or family before deciding the best plan forward with them. I believe a relationship is the most important and significant factor in creating positive change, so I like to take time to ensure we are the right fit for one another. I'm a collaborative provider, so I believe caregivers or other systems are vital to being a part of therapy, which looks different for each family. I also believe physical and spiritual health are significant factors that play a role in growing and healing, therefore we explore a variety of factors that could be impacting a person's mental health needs. I am passionate about supporting people in meeting them where they are at - so each approach is different based on those needs.

What you can expect from me

First sessions typically look like a low-key get-to-know each other meeting. I like to share more about my philosophy of counseling, explore what brought people to meet, and begin exploring goals.
