Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a wide range of challenges including but not limited too: anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, and family or school-related stress. I have extensive experience working with children and teens and understand that therapy often needs to look different depending on a person’s age, personality, and needs. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while developing a better understanding of their emotions, patterns, and experiences.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely comfortable with your therapist, so I prioritize building a strong, trusting relationship and meeting you where you are. My approach is integrative and individualized rather than one-size-fits-all. Some forms I draw from include CBT, IFS-informed therapy and creative or expressive interventions depending on what feels most helpful for you. I balance providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space with helping clients recognize patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts or behaviors, build practical coping skills, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been going on in your life, what you would like support with, and what you hope to get out of our work together. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. I’ll ask questions to help guide the conversation, and you’re always welcome to ask me questions as well. From there, we’ll begin identifying goals and figuring out an approach that feels like a good fit for you!
