Great to meet you!

I have been working in the mental health field for the past seven years, with a strong foundation in nursing and psychiatric care. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2019 and began my career on a behavioral health unit, where I gained extensive experience supporting individuals with both acute and chronic mental health conditions.

In 2024, I completed my Master of Science in Nursing and became a Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Over the past two years in advanced practice, I have provided comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for a wide range of mental health disorders.

My clinical experience includes addiction medicine and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), as well as the management of depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and ADHD. I am committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. I work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that promote stability, resilience, and long-term well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that effective treatment begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, respect, and open communication. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to participate actively in their care.

I utilize an evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment, integrating thorough psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive therapy techniques. I work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and unique life circumstances. Education is an important part of my practice—I ensure that clients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and the risks and benefits of medications so they can make informed decisions.

My clinical focus includes mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). I emphasize long-term stability, relapse prevention, and practical coping strategies that support overall mental wellness.

Above all, I am committed to meeting clients where they are and supporting them through each stage of their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a thorough and supportive evaluation focused on understanding their concerns, history, and treatment goals. This initial visit is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and open communication.

We will review your current symptoms, past psychiatric and medical history, previous treatments, medications, and any relevant social or environmental factors. I will ask questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of your experiences, while also ensuring you have space to share what feels most important to you.

Together, we will begin identifying treatment goals and discussing potential next steps, which may include medication options, therapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, or additional assessments if needed. My goal is to ensure you leave the session with clarity about your diagnosis (if applicable), a clear plan moving forward, and confidence in the direction of your care.

I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, supported, and actively involved in your treatment decisions.
