Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and I graduated from Hood College with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working in a variety of therapeutic settings including substance use disorder treatment centers, individual counseling, and in a DBT program. My experience has involved treating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use and behavioral addictions, and other mental health disorders.

My approach to therapy

I employ a trauma-focused approach that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Existential Therapy with the goal of exploring the impact of past experiences on our current behaviors and developing new behaviors that help us to improve our lives and achieve our goals. “I believe anyone can recover. Together we can learn to process difficult experiences, identify the root causes of unproductive behaviors, and heal the wounds that drive them.”

What you can expect from me

During the first session we'll get to know each other a bit better. We'll explore what you want to get out of life and figure out how to get past the things that have been holding you back.
