I have been a therapist for 12 years, in private practice for the past 8.
Prior to this I worked for our local Hospital, Munson Medical Center, in their Behavioral Health Department. And prior to that I worked with students and families at a boarding school for high schoolers with learning difficulties for 8 years.
I like to offer my clients an opportunity to choose between an office visit, or a walk and talk at a nearby trail or park. Through my research I have found that clients with difficulties like ADD/ADHD, depression, and anxiety respond best to treatment in the outdoors.
Our first appointment will involve some paperwork, some diagnostic materials, setting treatment goals, and just getting to know each other.
