Great to meet you!

I earned my Master's in Counseling from Framingham State University in 2016 and immediately transitioned into community mental health care. I officially became licensed with the board of NH in late 2020. Since 2021, I have been in private practice, serving adult clients from 18 years old and up. I have grown to focus my practice on supporting neurodivergence from all backgrounds and continually engage in multicultural competency trainings as part of my ongoing work to identify implicit biases and decolonize my practice and myself. My practice is a safe harbor for all marginalized folx including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and disabled communities. I am creative and open-minded. I offer evidence-based approaches like DBT and CBT and supplement with eclectic and new age practices to enhance the therapeutic process, including use of tarot/oracle cards.

My approach to therapy

In addition to traditional, evidence-based practices that I use (e.g. DBT and skills coaching, CBT, etc.), I have been using tarot/oracle cards in sessions when we get stuck or need inspiration. I am open to integrating crystals, runes, and sigils in mindful meditations and self-reflections. I am inquisitive and creative and open to using what works for you!

What you can expect from me

From intake to discharge, I approach every session with my clients with an open, curious mind. I strongly value our rapport and believe that good therapy has less to do with homework or evidence-based strategies and more with building a trusting relationship that is unconditional and validating. While the skills we work to learn in therapy are important, if we don't have a good foundation of trust and compassion, then we're not going to get very far. My therapy sessions are a safe place to bring whatever is on your mind, and that may not necessarily be therapy-related. If you are into a hobby or a show and you want to share something about it, by all means! I think there is inherent value in pacing ourselves in therapy sessions, balancing humor and silly topics with the more serious ones. On a similar note, I encourage all my clients to speak up about any discomfort in session. If I said or phrased something in a way that didn't vibe with you, I would rather you tell me in the moment so we can collaborate and repair. I have been told that I take criticism "surprisingly well", so take that however you will. I am not scared of big emotions. If I was, I wouldn't be a therapist.
