Great to meet you!

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family challenges, or simply trying to find your way through a difficult season. You don't have to face those challenges alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring over 20 years of experience helping children, teens, adults, and families find hope, healing, and balance, across multiple settings with 6 years of clinical work experience and 3 years fully licensed in clinical social work. My approach is compassionate, faith-informed, and centered on your unique strengths. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions to help children, teens, adults, and families navigate life's challenges. With over 20 years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, and child welfare settings, I understand the importance of tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs.

During our sessions, I use CBT techniques to help you identify negative thought patterns, understand how your thoughts influence your feelings and behaviors, and develop healthier ways of responding to challenges. Through trauma-informed care, I create a safe, supportive environment where we can explore difficult experiences at your own pace. My strengths-based approach focuses on identifying your existing abilities, building confidence, and developing practical coping skills.

Together, we'll work on managing anxiety, depression, emotional challenges, and relationship concerns while setting realistic goals for meaningful, lasting change. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and faith-informed, with spiritual support incorporated when desired.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but my goal is to make your first session as comfortable and welcoming as possible. We'll begin by reviewing what to expect from therapy, discussing confidentiality, and answering any questions you may have. From there, we'll have a relaxed conversation about what brought you to therapy, your personal experiences, and what you hope to achieve. You'll have the opportunity to share at your own pace, without pressure or judgment. Together, we'll begin identifying your goals and discussing how we can move forward in a way that feels right for you.
