Great to meet you!

I’m Erica Johnson, and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with grace. With a BA in Sociology from Virginia State University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, I’ve spent over a decade supporting women and female teens. My approach is empathetic, culturally sensitive, and collaborative, ensuring clients feel seen and empowered. I’m here to help you explore your feelings and build strategies for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I have a person-centered approach to therapy that emphasizes empathy, positive reinforcement, and client-centered growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and understood. I offer empathy and practical tools to help manage challenges, build self-awareness, and develop emotional resilience. Together, we’ll work toward healing and personal growth, with clients actively involved in setting goals and creating actionable steps. By the end of each session, clients will feel empowered, supported, and better equipped to navigate life’s complexities.
