Erica, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) was born and raised in Balti. MD and received her education at CSU with B.S. in Criminal Justice and a M.Ed. in Rehab Counseling. She has professional experience working with children/ adolescents and young adults with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Disruptive/Impulse-Control/Conduct Disorder, ADHD and Substance Related/Addictive Disorders through Dept. of Social Services, Dept. Juvenile Services supervision and BCPSS.
Erica’s therapeutic orientation derives from an eclectic approach with emphasis on Humanistic and Existential philosophies to promote self-awareness, trust in self and an inclination toward becoming fully functioning. She appreciates therapeutic techniques such as CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, SBFT and Gestalt Therapy for individual counseling and systematic approaches for couples and family therapy.
Clients can expect to leave therapy with greater self-awareness, practical tools for managing emotions and challenges, and a deeper understanding of how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. Sessions are tailored to help clients identify personal goals, develop coping strategies, and work through obstacles in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I aim to provide a safe space for reflection and growth, empowering clients to make meaningful changes in their lives.
