Great to meet you!

I’m an APRN, PMHNP-BC providing psychiatric care for children, teens, and adults. I work with people navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression (including more complex or treatment-resistant cases), OCD, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and behavioral challenges in children such as oppositional behaviors and attachment difficulties. I also have specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry and adoption-related family dynamics, which helps me better understand how early experiences can shape emotional and behavioral health.

My approach to therapy

My style is very collaborative and down-to-earth. I don’t believe in rushed visits or one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, I focus on understanding what’s really going on in your life and working with you to figure out what actually helps. I use medication when appropriate, but I also rely heavily on education and practical, skills-based approaches like motivational interviewing, DBT skills, interpersonal therapy, and ACT.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we take things step by step. I’ll ask questions about what’s been going on, your history, and any factors that might be contributing to your symptoms. I may suggest labs if it makes sense clinically, but the goal is always to get a clear, grounded understanding of your situation. You can expect the session to feel structured but conversational—less like an interview and more like a focused conversation where we start mapping out a plan together.
