Great to meet you!

Life can feel unpredictable emotionally; making you feel motivated one minute, and completely confused, hopeless, and overwhelmed the next? Why is it easy some days and almost impossible on others? Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in repeating patterns. Whether its substance use, relationships, grief, or emotional stress, and want help understanding why its so difficult to change.

My approach to therapy

Hello! My name is Erik Aguilera. I am an LPC in the states of CO, WY, and ME. I work with adults who want to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while learning practical strategies to move forward. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Together we explore the patterns behind your experiences and develop tools that support meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

I aim to create a space where you can speak openly and honestly without judgment. Clients often leave sessions with greater clarity about their experiences and practical steps they can begin using in daily life. Over time, therapy can help you build insight, strengthen resilience, and create a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals.
