Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), committed to enhancing the mental well-being of individuals across the lifespan. I blend clinical experience, patient-centered care, and a deep understanding of mental health disorders to provide personalized, holistic treatment. I am board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and utilize evidence-based practices to develop therapeutic relationships and create positive outcomes for clients. Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings including psychiatric hospitals, medical surgical, oncology, and step-down ICU.

During my training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have been afforded the opportunity to treat clients with various mental disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mood and behavioral disorders. As a mental health provider, I emphasize the importance of fostering trust, empathy, and open communication with patients. I believe in collaborative care, working closely with patients and their families to tailor treatment plans that are both effective and sensitive to individual needs and preferences.

When not working with patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, and extended family. I also enjoying reading, traveling, and attending church services.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I focus on understanding each client’s unique story to create individualized treatment plans that promote healing and growth. Combining medication management, therapy, and education, I empower clients to achieve balance, resilience, and long-term mental wellness in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

What you can expect from me

Your first psychiatric appointment focuses on understanding you—your history, symptoms, and goals. We’ll review your background, discuss challenges, and create a personalized treatment plan. Expect a supportive, judgment-free space where you can speak openly, learn about options, and leave with a clear path toward improving your mental health and wellness.
