Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University and bring more than 13 years of experience providing community mental health services, including work within the public school system. My specialized training includes certification as a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Therapist and Trainer, a certified PC-CARE Provider, and a certified Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Therapist. I am also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Additionally, I hold three post-graduate certificates through Portland State University in Asperger’s Syndrome and High Functioning Autism, Therapy with Adoptive & Foster Families, and Infant/Toddler Mental Health.

I am a Registered Certified Infant Massage Instructor, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Board-Certified TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH).

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered. I work alongside clients and their families to identify the most effective interventions for addressing presenting concerns while emphasizing and building upon individual and family strengths. I view clients and their families as the experts on their own experiences and strive to create a therapeutic environment grounded in respectful curiosity, compassion, and mutual trust.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and child-centered environment where both children and caregivers feel safe, respected, and heard. In the first session, I focus on building connection, understanding your child and family’s strengths and concerns, and gathering information about relationships, development, and daily routines. Together, we identify goals and begin creating a plan to support your child’s emotional well-being, strengthen caregiver-child relationships, and build practical tools for success at home, school, and in everyday life.
