Great to meet you!

Hi, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a graduate of the University of Kentucky’s Doctor of Social Work (DSW) program, bringing 9 years of specialized experience to our sessions.

My extensive background includes navigating complex mental health systems, providing vital medication management education, and supporting individuals facing severe psychiatric disorders, psychosis, substance use, and self-harm. Clients should know that I am deeply passionate about finding their unique inner strengths and working tirelessly to help them achieve their goals. I bring a high level of clinical expertise blended with a warm, non-judgmental presence to ensure you feel deeply seen, safe, and supported.

My approach to therapy

I practice a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy rooted in the firm belief that you are the ultimate expert in your own life. Because healing is never a one-size-fits-all journey, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to tailor a treatment plan that fits your specific needs. My practice centers heavily on harm reduction, building healthy coping skills, and promoting sustainable, long-term recovery so you can live your best possible life. I don't expect you to conform to a rigid therapeutic checklist; instead, I honor your lived experience and focus on what is practically working for you in the here-and-now.

What you can expect from me

In our very first session, you can expect a welcoming, collaborative environment where your voice dictates the pace. We will focus on listening to your story, identifying what you want to change, and beginning to uncover the innate power and strengths you already possess. Rather than a sterile clinical assessment, it will feel like a conversation where we establish a baseline of safety and map out a path toward your dreams. Ultimately, you will leave our first session knowing that you have a dedicated, expert guide who is ready to walk right beside you on this recovery journey.
