Great to meet you!

I am passionate about helping others to experience their best lives. I've been licensed as a marriage and family therapist for close to 21 years. I thoroughly believe in each person's unique capacity for wholeness; I do not perceive anyone as broken or damaged. I have a master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate University in Chatsworth, CA and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

My approach to therapy

I view clients as in a state of becoming who they were born to be, individuals free to express their authentic selves. I work primarily from a Psychodynamic lens, looking to the past to make sense of the present, and draw heavily upon Object Relations, Jungian, and Attachment theories. I specialize in shame, low self-worth, high functioning depression & anxiety, trauma & abuse, relationship dysfunction, life transitions, grief & loss, and lifestyle-related as well as chronic health conditions.

What you can expect from me

I help clients to harness their internal resources for creating an amazing, healthy, functional life on their terms. I do this by helping clients to identify and overcome the challenges blocking them from experiencing the life that they want.
