I am a board-certified psychiatrist practicing in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and continued my residency in Psychiatry at the OU Health campus, where I also served as Chief Resident. I continue to expand my knowledge base in treatment-refractory psychiatric conditions as well as women’s health issues through SAMHSA training initiatives.
In practice I prefer a collaborative approach to patient care and encourage overall mental and physical wellness. I specialize in Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorders, OCD, Women's Health, and Peripartum Mental Health.
Our first visit will involve a thorough review of your mental and medical history as well as current symptoms in order to clarify diagnosis and provide appropriate treatment options. I also like to discuss your treatment goals early on as this provides a framework for our time together. While I specialize in medication management I also respect that some patients prefer to minimize medications or work with nonpharmacological treatments. Regardless of your preferences, I am ready to meet you where you are and work towards wellness together.
