Great to meet you!

Erin Hebel is a Master’s-prepared, multiple board-certified nurse practitioner, holding certifications as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), and Certified Addictions Registered Nurse–Advanced Practice (CARN-AP). She brings over 25 years of experience across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Erin enjoys working with all patients and has extensive experience in inpatient hospitalizations, outpatient treatment programs, dual diagnosis units, inpatient detoxification for all substance use disorders, and urgent care settings. She specializes in behavioral health and substance use disorders, with a focus on comprehensive medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals with co-occurring conditions. She is experienced in working with patients at all stages of recovery and is committed to meeting individuals where they are in their journey.

Erin takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, promoting wellness through collaboration and individualized treatment planning. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, patient education, and relapse prevention strategies to support long-term recovery. When appropriate, she also works with families to strengthen support systems and improve outcomes.

She is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and values listening closely to each individual. Erin partners with her patients to develop practical, sustainable strategies for change, empowering them to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

My approach to therapy

Erin approaches her patients with warmth, respect, and genuine compassion. From the very first interaction, she strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns. She takes the time to truly listen, valuing each person’s story and perspective, and works to build trust through open, honest communication.

Her style is collaborative and supportive—she partners with patients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and readiness for change. Erin believes in meeting patients where they are, whether they are just beginning to consider treatment or are well into their recovery journey. She uses encouragement, education, and practical tools to help patients feel empowered and confident in managing their health.

Erin is approachable, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. She understands that recovery and mental health care can feel overwhelming, and she works to simplify the process while providing consistent support. Her goal is for every patient to feel heard, respected, and motivated, knowing they have a dedicated provider walking alongside them toward improved health and wellness

What you can expect from me

Patients can expect a welcoming, respectful, and supportive experience when meeting with Erin. From the start, she focuses on creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel safe to share their concerns, symptoms, and goals openly.

During the visit, Erin will take time to listen and gather a thorough understanding of each patient’s history, including mental health, substance use, medical background, and current challenges. She believes in treating the whole person, so discussions may also include lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, relationships, and overall wellness.

Patients can expect a collaborative approach to care. Erin works closely with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, coping strategies, and relapse prevention when appropriate. She explains options clearly, answers questions, and ensures patients feel informed and involved in their care decisions.

Visits are not rushed—Erin values meaningful conversations and strives to build a trusting relationship over time. Patients can expect ongoing support, encouragement, and practical tools to help them manage their symptoms, strengthen recovery, and work toward their personal goals for health and well-being.
