Great to meet you!

I've spent more than a decade providing bedside psychiatric mental health care across a range of clinical settings, and that foundation shapes everything about how I practice. For me, this work has always been more about caring than about diagnosing — I approach each person as a whole individual with a unique story, not as a set of symptoms to manage. I take my time with every patient, because I've learned that understanding the full picture of someone's life is what allows us to create real, lasting change. I also believe strongly in the power of lifestyle choices and how they intersect with mental wellness, so I bring that perspective into every conversation we have.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in listening — genuinely, unhurriedly listening. I spend more time with my patients than many providers do, because I believe the most valuable thing I can offer is a thorough understanding of your specific circumstances, your patterns, and what truly matters to you. I draw on my bedside training to bring a wellness and counseling lens to psychiatric care, and I stay in active communication with you and any other providers involved in your treatment. I also give assignments between sessions and follow up proactively, because good care doesn't pause between appointments. My goal is not just to treat — it's to build a long-term partnership where you feel genuinely seen and supported.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is for you to feel heard — not evaluated or rushed. We'll talk about what brings you in, what's been weighing on you, and what a better version of your daily life could look like. I'll share my perspective clearly and use real-world examples to make my recommendations feel concrete and actionable, not clinical or abstract. By the time we wrap up, you'll have a clear sense of how I work, what our path forward looks like, and — I hope — a genuine sense that this is a space where you can grow. If you're looking for a place to feel seen, heard, and supported, I'd love to be that provider for you.
