Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to explore, heal, and grow.

I’m deeply committed to helping my clients experience meaningful growth and lasting transformation. I specialize in working with trauma, including complex trauma, and I bring a gentle, compassionate presence to each session. Your well-being and best interests are always at the center of my work.

I also have postdoctoral training in mindfulness and self-compassion, which I integrate into therapy to help you develop a more supportive and understanding relationship with yourself, something that is often a missing piece in the healing process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative, recognizing the strong connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. I use evidence-based practices while also tailoring treatment to meet your unique needs and experiences.

In our work together, we will address not only past experiences but also how they show up in your daily life. Trauma can impact areas such as sleep, relationships, self-esteem, and overall well-being, and part of our work will focus on improving these areas as healing unfolds.

I incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion practices into therapy to support deeper healing, build resilience, and help you create lasting, meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a focus on building trust and creating a strong therapeutic connection. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.

I use a narrative-based approach, which means I won’t push for information that feels overwhelming or retraumatizing. Instead, I listen to your story in a way that honors your readiness and respects your boundaries. We move at a pace that feels right for you.

From the very first session, my goal is to empower you. While we will gather important background information, our time together is not just about intake, it’s the beginning of meaningful healing. You’ll leave with a sense of being heard, supported, and gently guided forward.
