Great to meet you!

Taking the first step in therapy can feel overwhelming. I’m Richi Sede, MA, CLSS, a clinical mental health counselor with experience as a Culturally and Linguistically Specific (CLSS) provider. I support adolescents, adults, and families—especially within immigrant, Latinx, Black, and African American communities overcoming anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I aim to create a safe, inclusive space where you feel respected, supported, and empowered to grow.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care, with a holistic perspective that emphasizes both healing and practical tools for resilience.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward growth, I’m here to walk alongside you on that journey.

My approach to therapy

I aim to connect with you where you are and create a plan that’s both practical and collaborative. I believe therapy thrives on a steady, ongoing partnership, so my approach is grounded and consistent. I want you to feel supported and heard from the very first time we talk.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is relaxed and focused on getting to know you — no pressure, just a conversation. We'll talk through what's bringing you to therapy and what you're hoping to get out of it. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of how we'll work together going forward.
