Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Esther. My background is in Professional Counseling in Psychology with an emphasis in grief, gerontology (older adults), expressive arts, and addiction and substance use. I have worked in mental health for over 13 years and have been licensed for 7 years.

In addition to counseling, I am also a licensed funeral director and embalmer with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through grief, death, and dying. These experiences have deeply shaped my understanding of loss, resilience, and the ways people process life’s most difficult moments.

My goal is to provide a compassionate space where you can explore your experiences, process grief or life transitions, and find meaningful ways to heal, cope, and move forward.

My approach to therapy

Welcome to a period of time you can just take a deep breath, relax, and share your thoughts. I can gently challenge your thoughts, listen, or assist you in accepting a reality. Come as you are and be accepted in a non judgement space. All are welcome.

Let’s start with a short consultation to see if we are a good fit.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting together helps me to understand where you are currently and how you want to combine the past with the present. We discuss your goal for therapy and expectations. We talk about what has worked for you and what has not been so helpful.
