Great to meet you!

All humans are fascinating and unique due to their life experiences. Helping patients reach positive goals they have set for themselves, and result in them pursuing their future with confidence and self-awareness, is a privilege. As a clinical therapist, I have been able to use my Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, to help my patients achieve their goals. Over the years I have worked at a variety of mental health settings. These experiences have provided me with a plethora of tools that are helpful in providing treatment to many mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is Rogerian, which is a person-centered approach that is nonjudgmental, accepting and empathetic.

What you can expect from me

A person's feelings are real, and they have a right to express themselves and have those feelings validated. Next, it is helpful to explore where those feelings are coming from, what is at the root, and what to do with them. From there, a patient can share experiences, learn about themselves and explore their options. Another form of treatment I provide is neurofeedback, which is training in self-regulation. Whatever is going on in your life - addiction, anger, traumas, relationship problems, or a general feeling of sadness and emptiness - they can learn to get through it.
