Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized mental health care across the lifespan. I earned my Master’s degree from Walden University, became board-certified in 2022, and later earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Capella University. My education and professional experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care while always remembering that each person’s story and needs are unique.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, mood disorders, and PTSD. I understand that reaching out for mental health support can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I want you to know that you are more than a diagnosis, and I am here to listen, understand, and support you throughout your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered around you as an individual. I believe that mental health treatment is not one-size-fits-all, which is why I take the time to understand your symptoms, experiences, concerns, lifestyle, and personal goals before developing a treatment plan.

Together, we will create a plan that is appropriate for your needs and may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, education, supportive interventions, and lifestyle recommendations. I value open communication and encourage my clients to ask questions and be actively involved in decisions about their care. My goal is to build a trusting relationship where you feel supported and empowered as we work toward improving your symptoms, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you—not just your symptoms. We will talk about what brought you in, what you have been experiencing, your medical and mental health history, current and previous medications, lifestyle, and what you hope to accomplish through treatment. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your concerns, and share what is most important to you.

There is no expectation for you to have everything figured out before your first appointment. My role is to listen, ask questions, and help you better understand what may be contributing to the challenges you are experiencing. From there, we will discuss your treatment options and work together to develop a plan that feels comfortable and realistic for you. My hope is that you leave your first appointment feeling heard, respected, supported, and hopeful about the next steps in your mental health journey.
