Great to meet you!

I’m excited to work with you! Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds, life experiences, and stages of life. While I value each of these experiences, I feel especially well suited to working with adolescents and adults as they navigate personal challenges, relationships, life transitions, and the process of better understanding themselves.

At the heart of my work is the belief that every person is worthwhile, deserving of compassion and respect, and capable of creating a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out or face difficult experiences alone. My goal is to meet you where you are, recognize the strengths you already carry, and provide a supportive environment where you can explore what you need to feel happier, healthier, and more confident in yourself and your life.

My approach to therapy

Being authentic and down-to-earth is at the heart of how I approach counseling. I want our sessions to feel like a space where you can show up as yourself, speak openly, and explore what you’re experiencing without fear of judgment. I believe a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship can create the foundation for meaningful growth and self-discovery.

I often work within an existential framework, which allows us to explore some of the deeper questions and concerns that come with being human. Together, we may look at how your experiences and choices have shaped where you are today, how the choices you make now can influence your future, and what truly matters to you. Through this process, we’ll work to identify your authentic beliefs, values, and sources of meaning so you can move forward with greater clarity, purpose, and confidence in the life you’re creating.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin building trust and developing a comfortable therapeutic relationship. I’ll take time to understand what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what kind of support you’re hoping to find. You’ll also have space to ask questions, share what feels important, and get a sense of what working together will be like.

From there, we’ll begin identifying a few goals for our work together based on what matters most to you. There’s no expectation that you share everything right away—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can move forward together.
