During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll ask questions about your background, your current experiences, and what brings you to therapy so I can better understand your unique story and what you'd like to work toward. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for how we might work together.
My approach is client-centered, which means you are the expert on your own life. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. I approach each session with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment, meeting you where you are. My hope is that you'll leave our first session feeling understood, with a clearer sense of your goals and a collaborative plan for moving forward together.
