Great to meet you!

Do you struggle with feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders? Do you struggle with finding personal and work-life balance? Do you find it hard to cope with current life stressors and situations? Do you struggle with the pain of your past life experiences presenting itself in your day to day? Can you imagine a place where you are free to be yourself, a place where you can share your thoughts and feelings and be open without the fear of judgment? Being seen, heard and understood is important and necessary to taking the steps on the journey to a healthier you. Hello, I am Felicia and I am licensed in the state of Indiana, Maine and New Jersey with 25 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

My approach to therapy

I meet clients where they are, helping identify their goals and supporting them in reaching these goals. I am a collaborative therapist and enjoy creating a safe, compassionate space for my clients to heal. I endeavor to create a space to allow self-awareness, true healing and personal growth to happen. We all have different life experiences and sometimes figuring out how to deal and cope with those experiences is challenging and requires a little help. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, chronic stress, trauma, struggling with relationships or a life transition, change is possible. Through our work together I want to help you meet your goals as you take this journey to feel better. I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome hurdles in your life.

What you can expect from me

I view therapy as a safe space for processing life experiences, emotions, thoughts, and trauma to achieve one’s goals and necessary growth. I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. My goal as a therapist is to collaborate with you to understand your thought processes, address barriers to wellness, and identify ways in which you can achieve your goals. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives; however, sometimes need an outside perspective to help re-frame our thinking. Asking for help isn't easy and you are not alone! We all need support at times, and I would be honored to be that support for you! Thanks again for taking the first step on this journey to a healthier you.
